Wallet Setup & Management

Your Droppie Wallet is the control center for your money. Whether you are topping up to buy an exclusive drop, or withdrawing your well-earned sales revenue, your wallet handles it all instantly.

Before you can add a bank account or withdraw funds, you must complete KYC verification (BVN/NIN) and have an approved profile. If your KYC is pending or rejected, bank linking and withdrawals will be blocked.

1. Setting Up Your Wallet PIN​

Before you can make any transactions, you must set a 4-digit Wallet PIN. This ensures that even if you leave your phone unlocked, nobody can move your money.

  1. Go to the Wallet page.
  2. Tap Set PIN.
  3. Enter a memorable 4-digit code. Avoid obvious numbers like 1234 or your birth year.
  4. Confirm the PIN.

Need to reset your PIN? Go to Wallet Settings > Reset PIN. We will send an OTP (One-Time Password) to your registered email or phone number to verify it’s you before allowing the reset.

2. Topping Up Your Wallet​

If you're a buyer, topping up your wallet makes checkout blazing fast so you don't miss out on limited-stock items.

  1. Go to the Wallet page.
  2. Tap Top Up.
  3. Enter the amount you wish to add.
  4. Choose your payment method (Bank Transfer or Card).
  5. Complete the payment gateway flow. The funds will reflect in your Droppie Wallet instantly.

3. Withdrawing Funds​

Sold an item? Once the logistics partner marks the product as delivered and the dispute window expires with no dispute, the funds are released from Escrow into your available Wallet balance.

  1. Go to the Wallet page.
  2. Tap Withdraw.
  3. If you haven't already, add your local bank account details.
  4. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw.
  5. Enter your 4-digit Wallet PIN to authorize the transaction.
  6. The funds will be transferred to your bank account! (Depending on your bank, this usually takes a few minutes, but can take up to 24 hours during banking downtimes).

You cannot withdraw funds that are currently "In Escrow." Funds must move to your "Available Balance" first, which happens automatically once an order is successfully completed.
