Navigating Orders & Deliveries
You made a sale! Now it's time to get the Drop into the customer's hands. Droppie makes logistics easy by integrating with delivery partners, but you need to follow the process carefully to ensure the Escrow funds are released to you.
How to Start a Delivery
- Go to the Orders page.
- Find the new order under the Outgoing tab.
- Click on the order to view the details (customer name, address, item).
- Prepare the Package: Securely pack the item. Make sure it matches the description perfectly.
- Tap Request Delivery.
- The system will calculate shipping based on the weight you provided. A rider will be dispatched to your registered store address.
Tips to Prevent Wrong Deliveries
A wrong delivery means a canceled order, an unhappy customer, and a frustrated seller. Follow these rules:
- Check the Order: Triple-check that you are putting the right item in the box. A size Medium is not a size Large.
- Label the Package: Write the Order ID and Customer Name clearly on the outside of the package.
- Verify the Rider: When the logistics rider arrives, ask them for the specific Order ID they are picking up. Do not hand over a package to a random rider who just says "I'm here for a pickup."
- Take Proof: Snap a quick photo of the packed item before sealing it, and a photo of the package with the rider. This is your best defense in case of a dispute.
Once the logistics partner marks the item as delivered, the buyer has a short dispute window. If no dispute is raised during that window, Escrow automatically releases the funds to your wallet.
