Commission Fees Structure

At Droppie, we believe in 100% transparency. Here is the full breakdown of our fee structure. There are no hidden charges.

Seller Fees

Setting up your shop, listing products, and connecting your Instagram is completely free. We only charge a small commission when a sale is successfully completed.

  • Platform Commission: A platform commission is applied to successful sales. The exact percentage and any caps vary by country, currency, and account type and are displayed in-app at the time of payout.
  • Payment Processor Fee: Payment processors and gateways charge transaction fees that vary by region and payment method; these are passed through and may differ per transaction.

Buyer Fees

  • Service Fee: A buyer service fee may apply on product purchases and is shown in-app before checkout.
  • Delivery Fee: Paid directly by the buyer based on the delivery distance and logistics provider.

Withdrawal Fees

When you withdraw money from your Droppie Wallet to your local bank account, a transfer fee is applied by our banking partners.

  • Standard Withdrawal: Varies depending on your local payment gateway (e.g., Paystack/Stripe transfer fees).

International & Conversion Fees

  • Cross-border transfers: If you withdraw to a bank in a different currency, a currency conversion fee may apply (percentage-based) and settlement times can be longer.
  • Partner bank fees: Some partner banks may deduct an intermediary fee for transfers; this is out of Droppie's control and may reduce the net amount received.
  • Regional differences: Payment gateway fees vary by country and payment method; the numbers above are illustrative — check the region-specific fees displayed in-app when you perform the transaction.

Refunds

If an order is canceled or a dispute is resolved in favor of the buyer, the buyer receives a full refund of the purchase price. The seller is not charged a commission for canceled orders.
