Dispute Resolution & Penalty System

Sometimes things don't go according to plan. A package gets lost, an item arrives damaged, or a seller misses the Stockpile timeout. When the buyer and seller cannot agree, Droppie steps in to mediate.

How to Open a Dispute

If you receive an item and it's completely wrong, open a dispute before the auto-release window expires.

  1. Go to the Orders page.
  2. Tap on the specific order.
  3. Tap Open Dispute.
  4. Clearly state the issue and upload crystal-clear photo/video evidence.
  5. The Escrow funds will remain locked until the dispute is resolved.

The Mediation Process

Our Support Team reviews every dispute manually. We look at:

  • The original listing description and photos.
  • The evidence provided by the buyer.
  • Messages and evidence submitted inside the dispute.

We aim to resolve all disputes within 48-72 hours. The resolution usually results in one of these outcomes:

  1. Refund: The buyer keeps the item and gets the affected item amount refunded.
  2. Return and Refund: Droppie arranges a return shipment. After the item is returned and inspected, the buyer gets the affected item amount refunded.
  3. Rejected: The buyer's claim is found to be invalid, and the funds are released to the seller.

Delivery fees are refundable before dispatch is placed. After courier pickup/dispatch, delivery fees are non-refundable.

The Flag & Penalty System

To keep the marketplace healthy, Droppie may apply warnings, temporary restrictions, or account removal for repeated or severe abuse.

You may be flagged if you:

  • Send counterfeit items.
  • Repeatedly fail to ship items before the Stockpile timeout.
  • Use abusive language in platform communications or dispute messages.
  • Attempt to circumvent the Escrow system (e.g., asking for a direct bank transfer in the DMs).

Possible Outcomes:

  • Warning and a request to correct the issue.
  • Temporary loss of selling or withdrawal access.
  • Permanent removal for severe or repeated abuse.

Play fair, communicate well, and you should never need to deal with account enforcement.
